Product Introduction:

The CHI600E series is a general-purpose electrochemical measurement system. The instrument contains a fast digital signal generator, a direct digital signal synthesizer for high-frequency AC impedance measurement, a dual-channel high-speed data acquisition system, a potential current signal filter, a multi-level signal gain, an iR drop compensation circuit, and a constant potential meter/constant current meter (660E).

The potential range is ±10V and the current range is ±250mA. The lower limit of current measurement is less than 10pA. It can be directly used for steady-state current measurement on ultra-microelectrodes. If connected to the CHI200B microcurrent amplifier and shielding box, currents of 1pA or lower can be measured. If connected to the CHI680C high-current amplifier, the current range can be widened to ±2A. The CHI600E series is also a very fast instrument. The update rate of the signal generator is 10MHz, and the data acquisition uses two synchronous 16-bit high-resolution low-noise analog-to-digital converters. The dual-channel simultaneous sampling rate is 1MHz. Dual-channel synchronous current and potential sampling can speed up impedance measurement. The time scale of some experimental methods can reach ten orders of magnitude, and the dynamic range is extremely wide. When the scan rate of cyclic voltammetry is 1000V/s, the potential increment is only 0.1mV, and when the scan rate is 5000V/s, the potential increment is 1mV. For example, the measurement frequency of AC impedance can reach 1MHz, and the frequency of AC voltammetry can reach 10KHz. The instrument can work in two, three, or four electrode mode. Four electrodes can be used for liquid/liquid interface electrochemical measurements, which is also very important for high current or low impedance electrolytic cells (such as batteries) to eliminate measurement errors caused by cable and contact resistance. The instrument also has an external signal input channel with a synchronous 16-bit high-resolution sampling rate of 1MHz. It can record external input voltage signals, such as spectral signals, while recording electrochemical signals. This is extremely convenient for experiments such as spectroelectrochemistry.

The CHI600E series instruments integrate almost all commonly used electrochemical measurement technologies. In order to meet different application needs and funding conditions, the CHI600E series is divided into multiple models. Different models have different electrochemical measurement technologies and functions, but the basic hardware parameter indicators and software performance are the same. CHI600E and CHI610E are basic models, used for mechanism research and analytical applications respectively. They are also very good teaching instruments. CHI602E and CHI604E can be used for corrosion research. CHI620E and CHI630E are comprehensive electrochemical analyzers, while CHI650E and CHI660E are more advanced electrochemical workstations.

The internal control program of the CHI600E series instruments uses FLASH memory. The update of the instrument software no longer needs to be sent by mail and the EPROM is replaced, but can be transmitted through the network and written by program commands. This makes software updates faster and more convenient.

The CHI600E series also allows for upgrades to bipotentiostats. The new design adds a second channel potential control, current-to-voltage conversion, multi-stage gain and low-pass filter circuit board to create the CHI700E series bipotentiostat.
